Creativity thrives on diversity. For this reason, GVL considers foreign cultures – not only from an artistic and musical perspective – to be an enrichment. We absolutely condemn the current attacks on institutions for refugees and refugees themselves.
gvl artsys tv is now online: This completely revised area includes all productions that were broadcast on TV. As of now members have access to many product data relating to 2014. Our rights holders may, of course, continue to register their contributions to products from previous years.
GVL will be represented at this year's Musikmesse in Frankfurt/Main on 15 and 16 April 2015. On Wednesday, 15th April, two GVL representatives take part in the so-called "matchmaking" event and are available for individual appointments. On Thursday, 16th April, a workshop entitled "GVL – this is how artists benefit" is held.
GVL's website is now available in English. By launching an English version of its website, GVL continues its international focus and now offers detailed information in English to its foreign rights holders and other interested parties with international backgrounds.
In cases where sound recordings or films and series with your artistic contributions are used in Italy and/or Austria and where you have granted us the relevant rights for said countries, we recommend that you register your contribution as soon as possible for these productions by using our online portal ARTSYS.GVL.
GVL launched the payout for distribution year 2013. The first artists were paid the remuneration calculated for them before Christmas. The payout of remuneration for sound recordings to producers already commenced at the beginning of December.
